Supply Planner

We are currently looking for a Supply Planner to join our Supply Chain Team in St. Gallen. In this position you will be responsible for performing supply planning activities related to global brand functions and will be directly reporting to the Head Supply Planning and Strategy at CSL Vifor.

Key Tasks:

• Responsible for performing supply planning activities related to global brand functions.
• Prepares supply forecast for external or internal manufacturing organizations to align with demand forecast and manages supply forecast in computerized system.
• Responsible for carrying out medium- and long-term capacity planning and identifying possible bottlenecks.
• Evaluates supply/demand imbalances and implements solutions working closely with demand planners regarding product allocation between markets as part of the Integrated Business Planning process.
• Monitors, manages and reports work in process and API, semi-finished and finished goods inventory across the entire supply chain, optimizing inventory and service levels.
• Manages coordination of supply for new product launches and product phase-outs and transfers, working closely with NPI, demand planners and those responsible for external manufacturers.
• Monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure performance of planning and execution processes. Proposes and implements measures to achieve KPI targets sustainably.

Your Profile

• Several years of experience in supply chain management in the pharmaceutical industry or in related industries (food, medical supplies).
• 5+ years' experience in supply planning functions.
• Proficiency in advanced supply planning systems (e.g. SAP IBP, Kinaxis, etc.).
• Fluent in spoken and written English (German is an advantage).
• In-depth experience in SAP and MS applications. BI tools is an advantage.
